AI in the Workplace: Emerging Risks and Challenges
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the workplace in various ways, such as automating tasks, enhancing productivity, and creating new roles and skills. However, AI also poses emerging risks and challenges for organisations, such as ethical, legal, and social implications, data privacy and security issues, and human-AI collaboration and trust. This presentation aims to explore how organisations are addressing these risks and challenges, and whether their current approaches are keeping pace with the rapid development and adoption of AI. Furthermore, this presentation will examine how disruptive emerging technologies, such as explainable AI, responsible AI, and human-centred AI, are to the existing approaches and frameworks for AI governance and ethics. The presentation will also cover 3 case studies – two from other organisations and one from my current experience as an employee of an organisation leading in AI transformation.
